PrideFest 2008’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Family Celebration will take place at the Children’s Museum of Denver on Thursday, June 19 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The gathering offers children’s activities, food and parenting resources for GLBT parents and for couples thinking about starting a family, according to event organizers.
The museum, which works closely with the GLBT Community Center of Colorado, is expecting more than 100 families to attend and is hoping to make the celebration an annual event hosted by the museum, said Amy Burt, spokeswoman for The Children’s Museum of Denver.
