Denver’s Black Arts Festival, celebrates its 22nd anniversary this weekend with hip-hop performances, a mural project, a parade and a marketplace in City Park. The festival kicks off tomorrow with a dance exploration of the past and future of hip-hop and continues through Sunday with gospel numbers. This year’s event also gives a nod to Denver’s growing population of African-born individuals by featuring the "March of the African Nations," in which Denver African organizations will march wearing traditional garb.
