Thousands are feared dead in sections of Port au Prince reduced to rubble by the earthquake that hit Haiti Tuesday. Colorado U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet asks you to help. Coloradans can simply text “HAITI” and their phone companies will send in their donations. Just don’t do it while you’re driving.
As you may have heard, a 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti yesterday, devastating the capital, Port-au-Prince, and surrounding areas. We’re getting reports that thousands are feared dead, and thousands more missing.
Haiti is already one of the poorest nations in the world, and they are not blessed with the resources to deal quickly with a crisis like this. They need our help.
If you can, please make a contribution to the International Response Fund of the Red Cross.
