Maes vows to raise $500,000, more than double his total so far

Republican nominee for governor Dan Maes announced on his Facebook page today that he intends to raise $500,000 today, which if he does would sure shut that pesky Tom Tancredo up.

Tancredo during a debate today in Loveland accused Maes of barely being able to raise enough money to pay his campaign violation fines and reimburse himself for gas.

Tancredo is running for governor on the American Constitution Party ticket.

Thus far in the campaign (through the last filing period anyway), Maes has raised less than half of the half million he plans to rake in today.
