Wiretap: Papers get Pulitzer, Snowden gets exile

 
The Pulitzer committee made it clear where the journalism world stands on the Snowden leaks by awarding the big prize to the Washington Post and the Guardian for their coverage of the NSA story. Amy Davidson of the New Yorker said it was the easiest call the committee could have possibly faced. Not everyone agreed, of course. But, as Davidson notes, it was because the stories were difficult to handle that the Pulitzers were so deserved.
