I would tell the mother that I ran into Heather like rnuning into her. I would then quickly ask if she is grabbing lunch too and steer the conversation else where. Planned Parenthood can be a touchy subject. And if mom’s mind began to wonder based on Heather being a minor this slip of the tongue could explode. I believe the best possible solution would be to distract mom from my comment.
