Beats on the Creek concert series

Good food and cocktails. Terrific music. And a great cause!

Coohills restaurant’s Beats on the Creek summer concert series is in full swing. Beats on the Creek brings local music and local flavors to downtown Denver throughout the summer, on the historic and picturesque Wewatta Bridge.

Concerts are free, and a portion of proceeds from each night’s food and drink sales will benefit the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado.

Here’s the summer lineup (all concerts are 6:30-9:30 pm):

July 26:  The Moderators
Aug. 4:  Mr. Majestyk’s 8-Track Revival
Aug. 9:  Under a Blood Red Sky
Aug. 16:  The Long Run

The Colorado Independent is a statewide online news source operating in a time when spin is plentiful, but factual, fair and unflinching news in the public interest is all too rare. Our award-winning team of veteran investigative and explanatory reporters and news columnists aims to amplify the voices of Coloradans whose stories are unheard, shine light on the relationships between people, power and policy, and hold public officials to account. We strive to report the news with context, social conscience, and soul, and to give Coloradans the insight they need to promote conversation, understanding and progress in this square, swing state we call home.
