House committee to hold hearings on Yellowstone River oil spill today

The House Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials will hold a hearing Thursday about leaks from an ExxonMobil pipeline near Billings, Montana on July 1.


The subcommittee will hear testimony from Cynthia Quarterman, director of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration; Gary Pruessing, President of the ExxonMobil Pipeline Company; and Douglas B. Inkley, Ph.D., a Senior Scientist with the National Wildlife Federation.
