Michael Hancock was sworn in today as the 45th mayor of Denver. Like all such speeches, his inaugural was brimming with optimism and platitudes. Still, he managed to say a few interesting things. He vowed to turn the 22-mile distance between DIA and downtown into a "corridor of opportunity."
