Statetap: Powdered alcohol?

Powdered alcohol – or Palcohol, as it’s been dubbed – might get banned by Colorado lawmakers, as federal regulators decide whether to approve the product. Proponents of the booze powder say it could be useful on flights, long hikes and as antiseptic. Detractors say it’ll be easier to sneak the stuff into public events. A House Committee voted 9-2 to advance a proposal to ban it. Via the Gazette.
