Denver Election Commission Survives Review

A task force looking at the Denver Election Commission has rejected calls to replace the commission with an elected clerk and recorder, the system that is used in counties without city and county status.  Instead, Denver voters will likely face a ballot issue in the fall making less high profile changes to the Commission, a proposal the City Council will consider today and tomorrow.According to the Rocky Mountain News:
